The Regional Executive has authorized the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment to contract, by open procedure, the service for the transportation and elimination of refusal to select domestic waste in the treatment plant, selection and composting of Ulea (Cetrase ) In authorized landfills.
The bidding budget is 13,667,818 euros, distributed between the annuities of 2017 and 2021.
Waste is considered to be waste that can not be subject to separation by Cetrase personnel and machinery for technical or quality reasons.
The contracting file has been submitted by the Solid Waste Management Consortium of the Region of Murcia (Cogersol), attached to the Ministry, and the objective is to carry out the comprehensive waste management within its scope.
In order to encourage the greater number of potential bidders, it is considered appropriate to separate the benefits with their own autonomy from the current contract.
That is, to establish the tender for the management of the treatment plant, transfer and transport stations between them and, on the other hand, the landfill and transport service from Cetrase.
In this way, a greater concurrence in the concession contract is made possible by making it independent of the availability of landfill, which in turn makes it possible to improve both the recovery yields and the price to be paid per tonne treated.
