The Governing Council has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the Municipality of Villanueva del Río Segura to finance the third phase of the new residence for people with disability and dependence of the locality.

The regional government granted 200,000 euros to equip the center, located on Calle Francisco Jiménez, in addition to contributions made in prior years, involving a total of 834,000 euros.

The residence of persons with disabilities in dependence of Villanueva del Río Segura has 39 beds and provides services in the welfare and improvement of personal autonomy.
