The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, accompanied by the mayor of Ulea, José Bolarín, today visited the construction of new homes in the neighborhood, where the Ministry of Public Works and Planning funded the rehabilitation of 35 homes, with an investment total of 246,776 euros.
Specifically, we are doing "the work of recovery and improvement of this traditional neighborhood on the outskirts of the town, located near two of the most representative symbols of the population, such as the Casa de la Condesa and Santa Cruz Bath "said Antonio Navarro.
The action is carried out in four blocks of town houses and "will lead to significant energy savings for residents, due to the replacement of the roofs of the houses and the installation of solar panels, which are intended to supply hot water "said the CEO.
Furthermore, "works on the facades of the buildings aesthetic unit returned to these properties in the neighborhood of new homes consisting of single family homes, and project a new image to the whole city," he added.
The works consist of the full replacement of roofs and the installation of 35 solar panels, and a powder coated paint on the walls and locks and installing security doors shielding access to housing.
This intervention is financed to 50 percent by owners and is part of the Renewal Program Urban Image distinct neighborhoods or areas of cities that drives the Ministry of Public Works and Planning.
