The Community provides assistance for access to housing for young people residing in municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants of the Region.
Specifically, they may receive subsidies of up to 300 euros per month for the next two years to pay the rent and up to 10,800 euros for the purchase of housing, if the property does not exceed 100,000 euros.
These grants are one of the main novelties that the Community Housing Plan 2018-2021 incorporated, with a budget of 80 million and that establishes specific aid lines to facilitate access to housing for young people under 35 years of age who They reside in one of the nine smallest municipalities in the Region (Albudeite, Aledo, Campos del Río, Librilla, Ojós, Pliego, Ricote, Ulea and Villanueva del Río Segura).
"This is an initiative of the regional government that is committed to the municipalities of the Region and because young people have facilities when it comes to staying and developing their lives in their home towns," said the Director General of Housing, José Francisco Lajara, during the meeting he held with the mayor of Ulea, Víctor López Abenza.
