The Civil Guard of Murcia has developed the operation 'CHAMELEON' established to pursue an investigation into drug trafficking, which has resulted in the seizure of a macroplantación marijuana on a farm in the municipality of Ulea.

The first investigations carried out allowed the civil guards locate the farm where planting was.

It was several thousand cannabis sativa plants planted in a grove of apricot trees.

Marijuana had been strategically planted under the trees of the farm, so it was virtually impossible to be detected by air.

The investigation continued to determine the person who was behind the illegal plantation that once identified, in recent days has been located and detained on suspicion of crimes against public health.

In parallel, the Civil Guard has dismantled the macroplantación, consisting of 2,345 marijuana plants, which were in various stages of growth, an autonomous system of irrigation and other related illicit cultivation effects of this substance.

The Spanish arrested 46-year-old resident of Archena, drugs and seized property, and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Cieza (Murcia).
