The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, visited the 21 young people from different regions involved in the field of cultural work that takes place in Ulea and aims at the revitalization of the child population , youth and senior citizens of the municipality, and promote the value of the cultural environment of the area.
The volunteers, aged between 18 and 26, come from Andalusia, Aragon, Castilla y León, Castilla la Mancha, Catalonia, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra, Basque Country and Valencia.
For 15 days, from 17 to 31 August, the young cooperate in the planning and development of cultural and recreational activities to support local festivals program.
Veronica Lopez said that "the activities carried out in the field of work are intended to stimulate cultural exchange through coexistence, solidarity and participation."
Furthermore, in parallel have organized cultural visits, trekking through the valley of Ricote, games and entertainment, craft workshops and sports.
Summer Youth campaign 2010, the Institute of Youth intended 419,000 euros, 47,000 euros to the Fund brings Mediterranean.
Other partners are the youth councils of the municipalities where they develop the various camps and labor camps.
