The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, accompanied by the mayor of Ulea, José Bolarín, today visited the construction that the regional government has implemented new home neighborhood in the municipality, where the Ministry of Public Works and Planning has financed the rehabilitation of 35 houses with a total investment of 246,776 euros.
The work has been developed in an environment of special architectural interest, as new home is situated on the outskirts of town, near two of the most representative symbols of the population, such as the Casa de la Condesa and Bath St. Cruz.
Work on the facades of buildings have returned the aesthetic unity of these properties in the neighborhood of new homes, which project a new image to the whole city.
The work, which was carried out in four blocks of town houses, "also contributes to energy saving and energy efficiency, which has included the replacement of the roofs of the houses and the installation of solar panels to supply hot water, "said Antonio Navarro.
This intervention, which has been financed to 50 percent for homeowners, is part of the renovation program of the urban image of neighborhoods or different areas of the cities that drives the Ministry of Public Works and Planning.
