The Director General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, José Antonio Blasco, yesterday visited the town of Ulea to also meet the needs of the town, meet the urban regeneration and replacement of urban services undertaken under the Plan of Works and Services 2011, which has a grant of 49,865 euros.
During his visit to the Municipality, Blasco held a working meeting with the local mayor, Victor Manuel Lopez, and members of the city government to coordinate projects and establish lines of collaboration to continue to ensure the efficient and effective utilities.
The Ministry of the Presidency, through the Directorate General of Local Government and Institutional Relations, has made an investment of 970,190 euros in the last four years to finance various urban improvement projects and actions that have improved the functioning of the local body.
The projects funded by the Community are replenishing and sanitation services, water and unpaved roads Cervantes, Alta and other roads in the center, the regeneration of urban services, design of the swimming pool and ancillary facilities and urbanization different areas of the town, according to General Municipal Management Plan.
With this type of action, it meets the objectives of the Community "to support and collaborate with municipalities in financing works and municipal infrastructure improvements, the provision of a public service quality and enhance job creation and economic recovery, "said the CEO.
