The regional government has approved the project execution to improve sorting operations at the plant in municipal solid waste Ulea, with an investment of 11,200,000 euros.
The performances will include the installation of a new automated line treatment fraction remains and containers and replace the existing transfer station for disposal of materials not included in the recycling chain.
A control building and receiving visits and parking ten containers will also be built.
Thus, these works allow modification of existing treatment systems and facilities in order to reflect the new process needs.
The project is funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union and 20 percent equity of the Community, to be implemented in two annuities.
The regional government is promoting the investments needed to improve and adapt to the objectives of the Act and the new Packaging Waste Act in all public treatment plants of municipal solid waste in the Region of Murcia.
